This is the first time that I've worked with fire to this scale, and it was funfunfun, and I'm pretty pleased with the result! It took me FOREVER though, and probably has 350+ active layers >.< Good job I have a lot of time on my hand these days :P

I thought I'd take this request because I really wanted a challenge to improve my skills and since seeing The Fire Lord by =arrsistable, I was inspired by the fire factor and thought I'd go for it!

This is also the first time I've hand painted a photomanipulation to this extent. But let me tell you, my wrist KILLS now; it would have been SO much quicker and easier if I had a tablet rather than a mouse! Hehe, and it's amusing when I put a black background on top of the horse layer and then all you can see are the highlights and the flames... and cuz all the highlights are in the right place so it looks like there's a horse there XD Ooor if i take away the horse layer then you can see the background through all the highlights and stuff but it's like there's a ghost horse cuz of all the highlights left behind :D Muaha, I'm amused easily :P

But anyway, I'm pleased with my efforts, although there are quite a few patches which I feel could be improved... But then I guess there always will be XD I won't point them out to you because then that'll be all you focus on, butttt if you notice anything, honest critique is always always more than welcome!

And a HUGE HUGE thank you goes to =arrsistable for helping me out with all her critique and advice! Definetely one of the loveliest people in the world! :aww:

Both this and the Sea horse are awesome. I love how the colors in both are so vibrant compared to the backgrounds. Excellent work.

OMG thats just amazing, i was just wondering what program u use, or if you use a tablet also :D i just got photoshop cs4 and have no idea how to use it and it turns suff all pixely lol
